For students
I lost my claim code. Can I still sign in?
If you have an email address, use Sign in with Google (if you use Google) or Sign in with email (we'll send you a one-time code). Your Sankalp Academy account will open automatically. If you don't remember your email, ask your teacher or hello@nipunta.com for a new claim code.
I don't have an email address. What do I do?
Ask your teacher or branch manager for a new claim code from your slip. They can print one or message it to you. Use it to sign in the same way.
I can't sign in with my Google account.
Did you use a different email when Google created your Nipunta account? Sign in with that email instead (choose "Sign in with email" and we'll send you a code). If you forgot the email, ask hello@nipunta.com.
My test didn't open / the portal shows "test not live yet."
There's no scheduled test window on Nipunta today. Your practice is available as soon as your institute connects it. If a panel says practice isn't connected yet, that means your institute hasn't finished setup for it; ask your teacher, or take a screenshot and send it to hello@nipunta.com.
My marks or questions look wrong.
Nipunta tracks a practice report from your recent play, not a graded exam mark. There's no separate marks entry to double-check. If a number looks wrong, ask your teacher; they can see your reports for your batch. If a puzzle itself seems wrong, email hello@nipunta.com with details. There isn't an in-app way to flag a question yet.
How do I switch students on a shared phone?
Tap your name in the menu, then Log out. The next person signs in with their own code or email. Each student's progress is kept separate.
Who can see my test marks?
You: always. Your teacher: your practice report, for your batches only. Your location head or branch manager: all students in their branch. Your institute owner: all students and all teachers. Other students: never. Nobody else's scores are shown to other students.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Email hello@nipunta.com and ask us to delete your account. We'll remove your progress, scores and personal information; you'd need a new account to practise again. Your teacher will still see that you had an account (for their records), but not your answers or details.
How do I change my phone number or email?
There's no self-serve profile edit for this yet, and Nipunta doesn't collect a phone number at all. To change the email your account signs in with, email hello@nipunta.com and we'll update it for you.
For staff (teachers, location heads, owners)
I can't add a student or teacher to my batch.
Only your institute owner or a location head can add people through Console. Teachers don't have Console access to add students or teachers themselves. If you're a teacher, ask your location head or owner to add the person. If you're an owner or location head and it's still not working, check that the batch exists and the person's email hasn't been added before (we don't allow duplicates). Still stuck? Email hello@nipunta.com.
A student lost their code. Can I reissue one?
Yes. Go to Console, then People, find the student, and choose Reissue claim code. The old code stops working immediately. Send them the new one via WhatsApp, email or slip.
I uploaded a roster file and some rows failed. What do I do?
The form shows which rows failed and why (usually a bad batch name or a duplicate email). Fix those rows in your CSV file and upload again. We'll import the good rows and tell you if any still fail. You can always upload the rest manually later.
My batch is not showing up when I try to add a student.
The institute owner creates a batch from Console, then Batches, then New batch (campus and name). Location heads and teachers cannot create one. If you are not the owner, ask them, or email hello@nipunta.com.
My test was set but students can't see it.
There's no separate test setup or Published state to check today. A student sees their practice as soon as it's connected and they're seated in the batch. If a student can't see theirs, check in Console, then People that they're in the right batch, then check their device. They may need to reload the portal, or there could be a network issue.
After a test, my merit list shows as "in progress" or "calculating."
Reports update overnight from the previous day's practice, not live during a test, so there's nothing that stays "calculating." If a batch's report still looks stale the next day, take a screenshot and send it to hello@nipunta.com.
Can I export the merit list to Excel?
Not from the report page itself. That offers Print / save as PDF and Download SVG only. For a CSV of your institute's members, batches and practice results, the institute owner can use Console, then People, then "export members, batches and practice results as CSV."
I'm the owner and also teach a batch. How do I switch between my roles?
On the portal home, you'll see both your institute overview (Owner dashboard) and your batches (My batches). Tap the one you want. If your profile menu shows "My profile," you're signed in as a student. Sign out and sign in again with your owner or teacher email.
I want to pause a student without deleting them.
Go to Console, then People, find the student, and choose Pause access. They can't sign in or see their marks, but their history is kept. To restore them, choose Restore access.
Can I remove a student or teacher from a batch?
Yes. Go to Console, then People, find the person, and choose Remove. Their history and marks stay (for your records), but they're no longer in the batch. If they were a student, their seat is freed up.
Our institute details (name, logo, colour) look wrong.
Contact hello@nipunta.com. Only the institute owner or Nipunta support can change these.
General
How do I report a bug or problem?
Email hello@nipunta.com with what happened and, if you can, a screenshot. We'll look into it and get back to you.
Where can I get support?
Your institute's own support contact is hello@nipunta.com. Nipunta itself can also be reached at hello@nipunta.com.
